Ashwath Foundation

We are tucked away on the third floor of Plot No. D-2/2 in Yadav Nagar. The full address has all those Kh. No. details like 24/1 and 2/2, but most people just look for Shiv Vatika to find us. It’s a bit of a climb, but once you’re up here, it’s a good place to work. The Ashwath Foundation is a small operation in New Delhi 110042. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just a regular office space where we try to do some good for the people around here. Most of us are from this part of Delhi, so we don’t need a map to know what’s going on in the streets below. We spend our time on various community projects, though some days it feels like we’re just moving papers from one side of the desk to the other. It’s not a polished corporate environment at all. We have mismatched chairs and the walls are a bit bare. We don't bother with marketing or trying to sound like a big deal. We’re just here, doing the work that needs doing. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to shout to be heard, but that’s just life in Delhi. We don’t have a mission statement on the wall; we just know why we show up. It’s practical, everyday work for regular people, and that’s exactly how we like it.
