Asaas Foundation

Our spot is in the DLF Tower-B in Jasola, specifically unit DTJ-23 on the ground floor. Being in a big tower like this is a bit different for us, but it’s practical. The ground floor location makes it easy for people to just walk in. The office itself is pretty straightforward. We’ve got our computers, a printer that sometimes jams, and a few chairs. It’s a clean space but we haven't done much in the way of decorating. We’re more focused on the work. It can get a bit loud in the hallways of the tower, but once you’re inside our unit, it’s fine. We spend most of our time dealing with the daily tasks that keep the foundation going. It’s a lot of emails and phone calls. We aren't a big corporation, even though we’re in a big building. It’s still just a small team of us trying to make things work. We’ve been in Jasola for a while and it’s a good spot for meeting people from all over Delhi. There’s always someone coming or going. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just show up every morning, open the door, and get to work. It’s a simple life and we like it that way. We just keep doing our bit every day and hope for the best. Sometimes we even remember to water the one plant we have.
