Arvind Ramchandra & Co. is based out of House-77 in Ber Sarai, New Delhi. This area is famous for all the students and coaching centers, so there is a lot of youthful energy around. Our office is in a regular house that we have converted into a workspace. It’s got a bit of a lived-in feel to it. There are books everywhere, not just about accounting but all sorts of things. We have a few desks set up in what used to be the living room. It’s a comfortable place to work, even if it’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of files to go through. The street outside is always full of people looking for books or heading to the nearby universities. We get a lot of light through the front windows in the morning, which makes the office feel a bit bigger than it is. We don't have any formal reception area. Usually, if someone comes by, they just knock and walk in. We spend most of our time staring at screens or talking about the latest changes in the tax laws. It’s a simple setup with a few computers, a printer that sometimes jams, and a lot of pens that always seem to go missing. It’s just a regular local office where we do our work without any unnecessary drama or fancy talk.
