Arcon (I) Pvt. Ltd.

Our office is right on the 10th Milestone of the Delhi Mathura Road in Ishwar Nagar. Being on such a major road means there is never a quiet moment. You can hear the constant hum of traffic from the Arcon (I) Pvt. Ltd. building all day long. It’s a very industrial part of the area, and our neighbors are mostly other workshops and shipping yards. The building itself is an older style, but it’s sturdy. We have a lot of people coming in and out—drivers, suppliers, and our own staff who commute from all over Delhi and Faridabad. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze with all the desks and equipment we have stored. We aren't the type to have a polished corporate image. Our walls have a few scuffs, and the furniture is built for comfort and use rather than looking good in a magazine. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at technical drawings. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front windows, so the AC is always working overtime. We usually grab lunch from the local dhabas nearby because the food is better than anything we could bring. It’s a gritty, hardworking environment where everyone just focuses on their part of the project. There’s a sense of history being on this old highway, seeing the city change while we stay here at the milestone.
