Applied College

You can find us over at D-1 in Kankar Khera, which is part of the Delhi 110082 zip code. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but it’s right in the middle of a very lively residential area. The college is housed in a building that looks like most of the others on the block. We don't have a big fancy sign, just a simple one so people know they’ve arrived. Inside, it’s mostly classrooms and a small office space where we handle all the paperwork. Delhi is always busy, so there is the constant sound of rickshaws and horns in the background, but you get used to it after a while. The students here are usually pretty busy with their notes and trying to make it to class on time through the traffic. We have a small corner where people can get some water or just take a minute between lectures. It’s a straightforward place. We don’t have a canteen or anything like that, so most people just bring their own tiffin or go to the shops down the street. The teachers are just regular people who know their subjects well. We've been in this spot for a few years now and most of the neighbors know us. It’s a no-nonsense kind of setup where the goal is just to get through the syllabus and pass the exams. No frills at all, just desks and books.
