We set up Ananya Institute over at B 455 in Mahavir Enclave because it’s a decent spot for people to get to. It's not a massive campus with fancy gates, just a straightforward place where learning happens. We have some desks, a few boards, and a lot of books lying around. Most days, it's pretty loud with students coming in and out, but that’s the way we like it. We didn’t build this place to be some huge corporate entity. We just wanted a spot in the neighborhood where someone could come and actually learn something useful without a lot of fuss. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird noise and we have to fix the chairs, but the classes still go on. It’s a practical setup. We spend a lot of time preparing materials and talking to everyone who walks through the door. Mahavir Enclave is a busy area, so there's always something going on outside, but inside we try to keep things focused. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone writing fancy slogans for us. It’s just us here at B 455, making sure the lessons are ready and the lights are on. If someone asks what we do, we just tell them we’re the institute down the street. It’s a simple life, teaching and running the office, but it keeps us busy and feels like we’re doing something alright for the local community and the kids around here.
