Our office is situated at 7955/6 on Arakashan Road in Paharganj. If you know the area, we are directly opposite Hotel Ashoka Continental. Paharganj is always a bit chaotic with all the tourists, rickshaws, and narrow lanes. Our office reflects that energy a bit. It is a busy place where we deal with a lot of plastic goods. The room is often filled with samples and boxes that we have to step over. It is not a place for sitting around; there is usually something to move or a delivery to check. Being on Arakashan Road means there is a constant stream of people passing by. The building itself is older, typical for this part of Delhi. We have a small desk where the paperwork happens, but most of the space is for the stock. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so the fan is always running on high. We’ve gotten used to the noise of the horns and the street vendors outside. It’s just part of working in this neighborhood. Most of our day is spent talking to people who come in or organizing the next load of plastic items. It’s a simple operation, nothing too complicated. We just focus on the inventory and making sure things are where they are supposed to be. It’s a gritty, honest place to work and we’ve been here for years now.
