We are right in the middle of Munirarka Market, on the second floor of the second building at number 113. If you’ve ever been to this part of New Delhi, you know it’s a total maze of shops and people everywhere. It’s always loud outside with the sounds of the market and people shouting. Our space is just a few rooms where we handle university business and student files. We’ve got papers piled up and a couple of old computers that have seen better days. It’s not a big campus spot, just a local office to help people in this part of town. We get a lot of students coming up the stairs to ask about their forms or when their exams are. The stairs are a bit narrow and steep, so you have to be careful when you walk up. The air in Munirarka is always thick with the smell of street food and vehicle exhaust. We usually have a big fan going because it gets quite stuffy inside during the summer. It’s a practical spot for us because it’s close to the metro and the bus stands. We don't have any fancy furniture, just the basic stuff needed to get the work done. Sometimes we have to shout a bit over the noise coming from the street below. We’ve been here at New Delhi 67 for a while, and it’s just our daily reality.
