Als Care & Support Foundation

Our office is on the ground floor at B-3/424 in Paschim Vihar. Being on the ground floor is very helpful because people can just walk right in without needing to use an elevator or stairs. Paschim Vihar is a busy residential part of Delhi, and our building is right in the middle of it. Inside, it’s pretty straightforward. We have a main area with some desks and a small corner for files. Because we focus on care and support, we get a lot of visitors who just need to talk or get some information. We try to keep the atmosphere calm, but it can get a bit hectic when several people arrive at once. The floor is tiled and easy to clean, which is good because there’s a lot of foot traffic. We have a small pantry where we make tea for ourselves and the people who visit. The windows look out onto the street, so we see the daily life of the colony passing by. It’s a humble setup. We don't have a professional decorator or expensive furniture. Everything we have is functional. We spend a lot of time on the computer and organizing schedules. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows your name after a few visits. We just try to stay on top of the work and keep things moving. It’s a local office for the local people.
