Akaal Aid Foundation

The Akaal Aid Foundation is based out of Vishnu Garden Ext. Specifically, you can find us at WZ-283/241 on the upper ground floor. It’s actually tucked around the back side of the building on Maddi Wali Gali No. 8. If you’re not looking for it, you might walk right past, but that’s just how things are in this part of town. The lane is usually full of life, kids playing or people carrying groceries home. We’ve been operating from this spot for a bit, and it suits what we do just fine. It’s not fancy or anything, just a few rooms where we can sit down and work on whatever is on the list for that day. The back side of the building is actually a bit quieter than the main road, which is nice when we need to focus. We usually start the day early, around the time the shops nearby begin to open their shutters. There is always a lot of chatter from the neighbors, and we know most of the people who live on this street by name now. It’s a tight-knit kind of place. We don’t really go in for big displays or anything like that. We just show up, do our bit, and head home when the sun starts to go down. This part of Delhi has its own rhythm, and we are just happy to be a small part of it.
