Aharada Foundation

Our place is at House Number 206, specifically on the second floor. We are in Block B of Mansarowar Garden City, which is in the Basai Darapur village area of West Delhi. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of movement. The second floor is where Aharada Foundation is based. Getting up there is fine, though the staircase is a little steep. The building itself is older, but it holds up well enough for what we do. Basai Darapur is a mix of houses and small businesses, so there’s always something going on outside. Sometimes the street noise gets a bit loud, especially with the horns and the people selling vegetables, but you stop noticing it after a week or two. We have a few desks squeezed into the main room and a small area for filing everything away. It’s not the kind of place with a lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you just knock on the door and one of us will let you in. The light in the afternoon is actually quite good because of the way the windows face. We use the 110015 pin code for all our mail, and it usually gets here eventually. It’s just a basic, functional space in a very lived-in part of Delhi. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just some fans that we keep on high during the summer months. It’s a very normal office for us and we like it.
