Aapi India Foundation

Aapi India Foundation has its office at B-3 on the first floor in the House Building Society area of NDSE Part-1. South Extension is a place that’s always moving, but our specific corner in the society is actually a bit more relaxed than the main market side. Being on the first floor is nice because we don't have to climb too many stairs, and we get a decent view of the trees outside the window. The building is one of those older residential-style structures that have been turned into office spaces over the years. Inside, it smells a bit like old paper and tea. We have a few desks pushed together and some shelves that are starting to sag under the weight of all the books and folders. It’s a bit of a maze of papers sometimes, but we know where everything is. We don’t really use any corporate language or have big presentations. Most of our work happens over small conversations and scribbled notes on pads. The neighborhood is good because you can walk out and find anything you need within five minutes. Sometimes the traffic in NDSE makes it hard for people to visit, but we don’t mind the quiet when nobody comes by. We just sit here and handle the daily grind, making sure the foundation’s paperwork is in order. It’s a humble spot, and we like the familiarity of the old walls and the creaky floorboards.
