Aachaarya Richaa Khurana

I am Aachaarya Richaa Khurana and I work out of my place at B-3/80 in Safdarjung Enclave. It is tucked away in a quiet street not too far from Bhikaji Cama Palace. My day is usually spent meeting people who are looking for a bit of guidance or maybe a different perspective on their problems. I focus a lot on the traditional arts and how they fit into our modern lives. The room where I see people is simple and filled with my books and a few lamps. I don’t like those over-the-top offices that feel cold. I want people to feel like they are just visiting a neighbor. Living in Safdarjung is nice because it’s a bit calmer than the rest of the city, but still close enough for people to reach. Sometimes I spend hours reading charts or thinking about the layout of someone’s home. It’s not a fast business. You have to take your time to understand what someone is really going through. I don't use any big slogans or try to sell anything fancy. It’s just about sharing what I know and hoping it helps someone feel a bit more at ease. Some days I get a lot of visitors, and other days I just spend time studying by myself. It’s a peaceful way of working and I’m glad to be doing it here in this neighborhood. I've been here for years now and the routine suits me well for now.
