Salakki Agro

Salakki Agro is situated at No. 31 Tilak Marg, which is very close to the Clock Tower. This is a busy part of the city, and the Clock Tower is a landmark that everyone knows, so it makes finding our shop quite simple. We deal with various agro products and supplies. The building at number 31 is an old one, and it has that specific smell of seeds and earth that you find in businesses like ours. Tilak Marg is always full of people, and we get a lot of walk-in traffic from folks who are just passing by the tower. Our shop isn't very big, so we have to be careful about how we stack our inventory so there is still room for people to stand. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just write our prices on a board and talk to whoever comes through the door. The noise from the street is constant, but you get used to it after a few weeks. Most of our time is spent answering questions about different types of seeds or fertilizers. It’s a local business run by people who live right here in the neighborhood. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just open up in the morning, sweep the front step, and wait for the first customer of the day. It is honest work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the year.
