Over here at Bajna Women Agro Producer Company Limited, we work out of Mohanlal Gordhanlal Rathod’s place in Raoti. This company is a bit different because it’s really focused on the women involved in farming around Bajna. We saw that the women were doing a lot of the heavy lifting in the fields but didn't always have a say in the business side. So we put this together to change that. It is located in Raoti, which is a convenient spot for most of us to gather. We aren't trying to be fancy or use a lot of corporate talk. We just want to make sure we get a fair price for what we grow. Most of our meetings involve a lot of discussion about the practical stuff—like when the rain is coming or how much we need to save for next season's seeds. Mohanlal helps us keep the space organized for our meetings. It feels good to have a place where we can make our own decisions. Farming is never easy, and there are always problems with pests or the weather, but being together makes it feel more manageable. We spend our time learning how to handle the accounts and the logistics ourselves. It’s a slow process but we are getting there. We’re just a group of local women trying to do right by our families and our land. No big missions or polished goals, just honest work in the fields.
