Our shop is on Desai Street, right in the heart of Tarota Bazaar in Navsari. If you know the area, we’re quite close to the Moti Parsi Agiyari, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. Being in the bazaar means it is always loud and colorful outside. There are vendors selling everything from vegetables to clothes just a few steps from our door. Smv Engineers has been part of this street for a while. The building is older, with high ceilings and that specific smell of old paper and dust that you find in Navsari. We don't have a lot of space, but we make it work. The desks are a bit crowded, and there’s always someone coming in or going out. We usually have the door open to get a breeze, even if it means some of the bazaar noise comes in with it. It’s a very local way of doing things. We know most of the neighbors, like the guy who sells tea on the corner and the family that runs the grocery store across the way. It’s not a corporate environment at all. It’s more like a workshop where we keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks and things that come our way. Sometimes customers stay longer than they need to just to chat about the local news. We don’t mind. Most of the time we're just focused on the work, but we always have time for a quick hello. Life in the bazaar is never dull.
