People send their kids here because it's convenient and they trust the people working here. We keep the gate open in the mornings and close it up once the last child has left. It’s a simple routine that we’ve followed for years. We just try to do a decent job without making a big fuss about it. That’s how we’ve always operated and it seems to work for everyone in this neighborhood. We don't really need much else to keep going.
