We are Shiv Shakti Agro Impex, and you’ll find us right in the middle of the action at the APMC Masala Market in Vashi. Our spot is L-5 in Phase II, Section-19. If you’ve ever been to the masala market, you know it’s a sensory overload. The smell of chili and turmeric is everywhere, and it’s always loud with trucks and loaders. We deal in agro-imports and exports, mainly focusing on the things that move through this market. Our office is small and functional, mostly used for sorting out the bills and talking to traders. We start our days very early, just like everyone else in the market. If you aren’t here by dawn, you’re already behind. It’s a tough environment, dusty and crowded, but there’s a real energy to it. We don't have time for anything polished or corporate. We just need to know what’s coming in on the trucks and where it’s going next. Our clothes usually smell like spices by the time we go home, which our families have mostly gotten used to. We’ve been in the market for years and know most of the other traders by name. It’s about building those connections and just being reliable. We don’t make big promises, we just do the work and try to keep our spot in the market running smoothly. It’s a busy, spice-filled life here in Vashi. We wouldn't really have it any other way despite the long hours and the heat. It is just how it goes in this line of work each day.
