Grameen Agro Fruits

Our office is over in the Vindya Commercial Complex in CBD Belapur. We’re in office number 28 on Plot No. 1, right in Sector 11. It’s a good area for business. We mostly deal with moving fruit from the farms to the markets. It’s a fast-moving business because fruit doesn't stay fresh forever. We spend a lot of time on our mobiles talking to drivers and farmers. We don’t have a big warehouse here in the office; it’s mostly where we do the booking and the billing. Sometimes the office feels a bit small when everyone is in at once. We’ve got a lot of files on different growers across the region. We try to keep things simple. If the mangoes are good this year, we let people know. If the crop is bad, we tell them that too. There's no point in sugarcoating it. We don't have a polished website or a big marketing budget. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. It’s a lot of early mornings and late nights during the peak season. We just want to make sure the fruit gets to where it needs to go while it's still good to eat. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up, but we catch up eventually. It's just a regular office life mixed with the chaos of the fruit market. We do what we can to keep everything moving and the bills paid.
