We are over at Shiv Centre in Sector 17, Vashi. If you live around here, you probably know the building. It’s a local spot where people come for all sorts of errands. Our shop is filled with bicycles of all shapes and sizes. We have the little ones with training wheels for kids and the bigger ones for people who want to commute to work. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to keep a good variety in stock. There is usually some grease on our hands because someone is always fixing a puncture or tightening a chain in the back corner. Vashi has changed a lot over the years, but people still need cycles to get around the sectors. We don't have a slick showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a traditional shop where you can come in, try out a seat, and see how the pedals feel. We talk to a lot of parents who are buying their child’s first bike, which is always a nice part of the day. Some customers come back years later with the same bike just to get the brakes checked or to buy a bigger seat. We don't do any big advertising or anything. We just open the shutters every morning and wait for whoever needs a tune-up or a new set of wheels. It’s simple work but it keeps the neighborhood moving. The street outside gets busy during the evenings, but we stay open late enough for everyone to stop by.
