J. N Akoda Roadways

J. N Akoda Roadways is based in Maruti Chamber. We are in room 207. This is the Steel Yard area. We are near the MTNL Exchange. It’s a very industrial part of the city. There are trucks everywhere. Our office is where we manage the transport. It’s a lot of phone calls and paperwork. We have been here for several years. The Steel Yard is always loud and dusty. We don’t mind it. It’s where the business is. We move goods from place to place. It’s not a glamorous job. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and checking schedules. Maruti Chamber has a lot of offices like ours. We all know each other. We get our tea from the same guy downstairs. We don't have a fancy corporate structure. We just have the staff needed to get the trucks on the road. It’s about being reliable. If we say a truck will be there, we try our best to make it happen. Sometimes the traffic or the weather makes it hard. But we keep at it. The MTNL Exchange is a good landmark for people trying to find us. We don’t do a lot of advertising. Our name is on the door and that’s usually enough. It’s a busy life but it’s what we know. We close up when the last log is signed.
