V & B Spices

We started V & B Spices because there was a gap in what we could find locally. Our spot at Moraj Residency on Palm Beach Road is pretty easy to find once you know the area. Vashi can get busy, but Sanpada has its own rhythm. Most days, we are just here checking on the latest batches of peppers and powders that come through the door. It is not a fancy operation. We have got some shelves and a desk where we handle the bills. Sometimes the humidity from the coast makes things a bit tricky, so we have to watch the storage closely. My cousin helps out most afternoons when the orders pick up. We don't really do big ads or anything. People just stop by or call because they know we are around. The morning tea break is usually when we plan the deliveries. Traffic on Palm Beach Road is a nightmare sometimes, so we try to get the van out early. It's just a regular business run by regular people who know a thing or two about good seasoning. We keep the floors swept and the bags labeled by hand. If the phone rings, one of us picks it up. No automated systems here. Just us. We’ve been at Plot No- 43 for a while now and the neighbors are used to the smell of cloves and cumin drifting out. It’s a good life, even if the work is repetitive. We enjoy the local community vibes here.
