Sai Chhaya Coating

Our setup for Sai Chhaya Coating is over in Shree Krishna Society in the Digha area. It’s actually in Flat No. 402, which might seem a bit odd for a coating business, but that’s where we handle all the management and the paperwork side of things. The actual coating work involves a lot of equipment, so we spend a lot of our time going back and forth between sites. Digha is a place where you see a mix of homes and small workshops. We’ve been based here for a while and most of the neighbors know us by name. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls or a receptionist. It’s a regular flat where the dining table is usually covered in drawings and order forms. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking noise while we work through the afternoon heat. We handle various types of surface treatments and coatings, mostly for local parts and small projects. We don’t have a big marketing department or ads in the paper. People usually find out about us by word of mouth or by seeing our small sign. It’s a small family-run kind of thing, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything during the week. One day you’re talking to a customer and the next you’re checking on a batch of finished parts. We just try to keep things honest and make sure the work is solid before it leaves.
