Rahi Export

Rahi Export is based out of C-1 3-2 in the Gokul CHS in Nerul. It’s a residential society, so it’s much quieter than being in a big commercial hub or an industrial park. We have a small space here that we use for all our export business activities. It’s basically a converted room with a couple of computers and a printer that jams every other day. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down and the visitors to a minimum. There aren't any big signs outside, so you really have to look for the building number carefully. Nerul is a nice area, and being in a CHS means we get to know the people living around us. We usually start the day early before the sun gets too hot in the afternoon. Our work involves a lot of coordination over the phone and keeping track of various shipments. The room is a bit small, and we have boxes stacked up in the corner most of the time. We don't really have a staff room, so we just eat our tiffins at the main table together. It’s a simple way to run a business. No corporate layers, just us handling the orders as they come in. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour, and we just sit outside and chat for a bit. It’s an honest way to spend the working day.
