Alshif Exports

Alshif Exports is tucked away in Vashi, specifically in Juhe Village, Sector-11. We operate out of 301 Geeta Apartments. It’s a bit unusual to run an export business out of an apartment building, but it works for the way we handle things. We don't need a huge warehouse right here because we manage the logistics through the port directly. Most of our day is spent at the dining table, which we’ve turned into a makeshift desk with a couple of laptops and a printer that occasionally jams when it gets too hot. Vashi is a busy area, but our little corner in Juhe Village is relatively quiet. We can see the trees from our window, which is nice when we’re stuck doing paperwork for hours on end. We focus on exports, so we are often on different time zones than the people we are talking to. This means sometimes we’re working late into the night or starting very early before the sun is up. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us making sure the containers are booked and the clients are informed. It’s a simple operation without any bells or whistles. We like the flexibility of being in an apartment rather than a cold office building. Sometimes the neighbor brings over some snacks, and we take a quick break. It's not a high-pressure environment, just a steady stream of work that needs to be done. We’ve been here for a few years now.
