If you’re looking for us, we’re up on the 6th floor of the Grohitam Building. It’s right in the APMC Market-II area in Vashi, Sector-19. Being opposite Gate-A makes it easier to explain to people who aren't from around here. Grain Tech Engineers & Consultents is basically a group of us sitting at our desks and working through technical details. The market downstairs is always moving, very loud and busy with trucks and people everywhere. Up here, it’s a bit quieter, but we still hear the city. We do a lot of consulting work, which means a lot of talking and a lot of drawing things out. It isn't always exciting, but it's what we're good at. Our space is functional. We have our computers, some old reference books, and usually a lot of tea going. We’ve been in Vashi for a while now. The elevator in the building sometimes has a mind of its own, so we’ve learned to be patient. We aren't some big corporate firm with a lobby. You just come in and we're right there. Most of our work comes from word of mouth. People know where to find us when they have a problem that needs a technical eye. It's steady work and we keep ourselves occupied. We like being near the market; it feels like the heart of the area. We just focus on the plans and let the world outside do its thing. It is a long day but we get it done.
