Arun Engineering

Arun Engineering is situated at No. 796/797, Sector 1A, on the Airoli Service Industries Road. We are right by the Airoli Naka, so there is always a lot of traffic and noise from the road. Our workshop is full of machines like lathes and drills. It is a place where we fix parts and manufacture small engineering components. The floor is usually covered in oil and metal shavings, which is pretty standard for a machine shop. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a long time. They know how to handle the tools and get the dimensions right. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. People find us because they need something repaired or a specific part made. Working on the service industries road means we are surrounded by other workshops and garages. It is a busy environment and we are usually working on several different tasks at once. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend the whole day fixing our own tools before we can even start on the customer's work. It is just the way it is in engineering. We have been in Sector 1A for quite some time now and we just keep plugging away at the work. It is noisy and greasy but it’s what we do. We open up early and don't head home until the floor is swept and the day's tasks are done.
