Ghanshyam Tea Co.

We are located in G-19 over at the A.P.M.C Market in Vashi. If you have ever been to the market in Phase-Ii, you know it is a total maze of shops and trucks. We have been here in Sector-19 for quite a long while now. Every morning starts way before the sun is even up. That is when the market really comes to life with all the tea being moved around. Our shop is usually covered in a thin layer of tea dust by noon. It is just the way it is here in the market. We spend our time weighing bags and talking to the regulars who come by to see what we have. There is no air conditioning, just a couple of old fans that try their best to keep us cool in the summer. It gets loud with all the shouting and the carts rolling on the pavement outside. We keep our ledgers by hand mostly and just try to stay organized in the middle of all the chaos. Ghanshyam Tea Co. is not a big corporate office, it is just a market stall where we do our daily business. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea ourselves, and other days we can barely keep up with the people coming in. We do not have any fancy displays. We just have the tea and the scales. It is a simple way to make a living and we have been doing it this way for years.
