At Plot No.R-307 in the MIDC Industrial Area, we run our engineering shop. Rabale is a huge place and it’s easy to get lost if you don't know the TTC area well. We deal with marine turbo stuff, which means there’s always a lot of heavy metal and oil around. It isn't a clean job. Our clothes usually have stains by lunch. The workshop can get really hot during the summer months, so we keep the fans going all day. We spend most of our hours taking things apart and putting them back together. There’s a lot of focus on the technical side of things, but we aren't fancy about it. We just use our hands and the tools we've had for years. Some of the guys have been working here since the company started. We mostly talk about the jobs we have for the day while we eat our tiffins in the back. The industrial area stays loud until late in the evening. There are trucks coming in and out of the plot next door all the time. It’s just a regular engineering place where work gets done without much fuss. We don’t have a big front office or anything like that. People just come straight to the workshop floor to talk to us about their engines. It works out fine for everyone involved and keeps us out of trouble.
