Our office is located at 1268 in the MIDC area which is right on the Thane-Belapur Road and it is a very busy spot to be in. If you know Mumbai and the surrounding suburbs you know how much traffic flows through here every single day. The building itself is pretty standard for an industrial zone and we spend most of our time inside dealing with the logistics of running a cafe business. It is not all just sitting at desks though as there is always something happening with the supplies or the machines that need looking after. We have a small team here and we mostly focus on making sure the coffee side of things is moving along like it should. The air outside is often full of vehicle exhaust and the sound of horns but inside we try to keep things organized. We do not have any big slogans or fancy posters on the walls just the calendars and the delivery schedules that keep us on track. It is a practical environment where we get the work done and then head home through the evening rush. Sometimes the rain makes the road a mess and everything slows down but we just keep at it. Being in the heart of the industrial belt means we are surrounded by other businesses doing their own thing and that energy keeps us going through the long afternoons when the sun is hitting the windows.
