Yogeshwari Salon

Yogeshwari Salon sits in Harimamta Appt on Panchak Road, which is part of the Jail Road area in Nashik. We are quite close to the Shani Mandir, so it’s easy to find us if you are heading that way. The shop is a small place where we handle basic salon work like hair cutting and some skin stuff. Jail Road is a lively part of town, so there is always noise from the street coming inside. We have a few chairs and some basic equipment that has seen better days, but everything works just fine. Most of our customers are from the apartments nearby or people who walk past on their way to the temple. It is a bit cramped when more than three people are waiting, but nobody seems to mind much. We have water for anyone who looks hot from the Nashik sun. I’ve been working here for a long time and I know most of the faces that walk through the door. We don't do anything very fancy or use expensive machines. It is just honest work with our hands. Sometimes my back hurts from standing all day, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We keep the place as clean as we can, though hair has a way of getting into every corner. It’s a quiet life mostly, just doing what we know how to do for the people in our neighborhood. There is a tea stall nearby where I get my morning chai.
