Western Salon

We are located at Gala No 19 on Link Road in the Ambad area of Nashik. This part of town is mostly industrial, so there are a lot of factories and warehouses around us. Western Salon isn't a place where people come to relax for hours; it’s where they come to get their hair sorted out and then get back to their jobs. We have a couple of chairs and some basic tools. The lighting is just regular tube lights, and we keep the walls plain. We don't have any of those posters of models on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a small mirror for the customers to check the back of their head. It gets quite loud with the trucks on Link Road, but we are used to it by now. We’ve been in this gala for several years. Most of our customers are the guys who work in the nearby units. They come in with grease on their hands sometimes, so we keep plenty of soap and towels ready. It’s a practical shop for a practical neighborhood. We don’t do any of that expensive styling stuff, just regular cuts and shaves. It’s a small business, and we handle everything ourselves from opening the shutters in the morning to sweeping up the last bit of hair at night. It is just a routine that we have followed for years now, and it keeps things simple and steady for us.
