Vanita Vikas Mandal Primary School

Vanita Vikas Mandal is a small primary school over on Nashik Road. The address is pretty simple to find if you’re in the area. It’s a place for the younger kids, so things are usually a bit more chaotic but in a good way. You hear a lot of singing and shouting during the day. We’ve been operating in this part of Nashik for a long time. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular schoolhouse with classrooms that have seen many years of use. We have a small yard where the children play during their breaks. The teachers here are mostly local people who’ve lived in Nashik their whole lives. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us. We spend our time making sure the kids are in their seats and that they’ve got their lunch boxes. Sometimes we have to fix a broken chair or repaint a chalkboard. It’s very hands-on work. Nashik Road can get busy with traffic, so we have to be careful when the kids are leaving for the day. Parents usually wait outside the main gate, chatting with each other while waiting for the bell. It’s a community thing. We don't try to be something we’re not. It’s just a primary school doing its thing every day, year after year, right here in our small neighborhood on Nashik Road.
