Urvashi Beauty Parlour & Flower

If you head down Kamatwada Road in Nashik, you will find us at Shop No 5 inside the Vinayak Residency. The place is called Urvashi Beauty Parlour & Flower. It’s a bit of an unusual combination, I know, but it works for us here in Kamatwade. We have the beauty side for the hair and face, and then we also deal with flowers for various needs. The shop sits right in the middle of Kartikey Nagar and Khutwad Nagar, so we get people from both sides coming in. The smell in here is a mix of hair products and fresh flowers, which is actually quite nice compared to most shops. It’s a small space, so we have to be very organized. The flower buckets sit near the front where it’s a bit cooler, and the salon chairs are in the back. My hands are usually busy either trimming a stem or trimming someone's bangs. Vinayak Residency is a nice building, and we have some good neighbors who look out for us. The traffic on Kamatwada Road can be loud, but once you step inside, it’s a bit calmer. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the name on the glass. People mostly find us by word of mouth or by seeing the flowers out front. It’s just me and the flowers and the hair clips most days, keeping the business running as best as we can.
