Our office is over in Deolali Gaon at Vaishnavi Darshan. Specifically, we are on the first floor in unit 9, 1. It’s a quiet enough area most days. Autemala has its own pace compared to the main city center. Saraloday Consultancy Services is just a few of us. We have some desks, some chairs, and plenty of files. The walk up to the first floor is quick. Sometimes the neighbor's dog barks when people come up the stairs, but he’s harmless. We spend our time looking at spreadsheets and talking to folks who come by. Nashik weather can be a bit much in the summer so we keep the windows shut then. Most of the time it’s just the sound of the keyboard clicking. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of people. It’s just us here in the room. We chose this spot because it’s close to where some of us live. The local shops around Autemala are handy for getting a quick snack or a pen when one runs out. We don't have a big reception desk or a lobby. Just the office space where the work gets done. It’s a practical setup for what we do. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit but that's just how it is. We wait it out and get back to it. It’s a steady way to spend the day. We usually lock up around six and walk down to the main road to catch a ride home.
