Sai Kiran Mens Parlour

We are over at Shop Number 02 in the Simanan Town Apartment building, which is in Murlidhar Nagar. If you know the Pathardi Phata area in Nashik, we are right across from the Hanuman Mandir. You can hear the temple bells sometimes during the day, which is quite nice. The shop is small and tucked away in the building. We have two chairs and a small sink for washing up. The mirrors are old and have that slightly wavy look to them if you look from the side. We keep our razors and scissors on a wooden tray that sits on the main counter. It’s a simple life here. We open up early, sweep the front step, and wait for the first customer. Because we are in an apartment building, a lot of our regulars live right above us or in the buildings next door. We talk about local things, like the water supply or the new shops opening up nearby. There isn’t much space for a big waiting area, so people sometimes just stand outside and chat until a chair is free. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just the one wall fan that works well enough. It’s a honest way to earn a living, and we’ve gotten used to the quiet pace of this specific street over the years.
