Sagal Salon

This shop is situated in Alkanandan Society, right in the Alkapuri area of Nashik. It’s at Shop No 3, near Pathardi Phata. Being inside a society means we see a lot of the same faces every week. It’s a more relaxed vibe than the shops out on the main highway. We handle mostly the residents from Prashant Nagar and the buildings nearby. The shop isn't very large, but it’s clean and gets the job done. We have a few mirrors and the usual chairs you’d expect. On weekends, it gets really packed with families bringing their kids in for school haircuts. You can hear the kids complaining sometimes while we work. Nashik weather is usually okay, so we keep the door open to let the breeze in. We don’t use any complicated equipment or expensive products you see in those big malls. It’s just simple scissors and razors here. People come to Sagal Salon because it’s close to their homes and they know us. We talk about the local news or what’s happening in the society. Sometimes we run out of water and have to go fetch some, but that’s just how things go. It’s a steady life, cutting hair and watching the neighborhood grow over the years. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the shop front.
