R.K. Mines & Mineral

R.K. Mines & Mineral is just a small shop, number 118, located on Thowli Road. We don't have a huge warehouse or a fleet of trucks, but we handle what we can from this spot. Dealing with mining materials and minerals involves a lot of phone calls and checking on shipments. The road outside can get quite busy with heavy vehicles, especially during the middle of the day. We sit in the shop and wait for the orders to come in or for the suppliers to drop off samples. It’s not a glamorous job at all. There is usually a bit of dirt on the floor and a stack of ledgers on the desk. We’ve been at this location for a while now and we know most of the people who pass by. We don’t spend money on big advertisements or fancy brochures because word of mouth works better for us. When someone needs a particular mineral for their project, they usually find their way to Thowli Road. We try to keep things straightforward. If we have it, we tell you. If we don’t, we see if we can get it. It’s a basic way of doing business but it has worked for us so far. The days can be long, but we like the rhythm of it. Being part of the local trade here means we see a lot of different people, and that keeps things interesting enough for us.
