Ismt

Located in the village area of Shinde, our office is quite far from the noise of Nasik city. It’s right at the post-Shinde location, which is easy to find if you know the local landmarks. Being out here means we get to see a lot of greenery and open space, which is a nice change from the crowded streets. The building itself is very basic and functional. We don’t have any big corporate lobbies or shiny reception desks. We just have a few rooms where we sit and go through our daily schedules. Most of the staff comes from the nearby villages, so we have a good connection with the local community. We start the day with some hot tea and a quick chat about what needs to get done. The work at Ismt is steady, involving a lot of routine paperwork and coordination. When it rains during the monsoon season, the sound on the metal roof is so loud we can hardly hear each other speak. We just wait it out and keep working. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We are just a local office doing our part. It’s a quiet life in Shinde, and we’ve grown used to the pace of things here. We spend our time focusing on the tasks at hand and making sure everything is recorded properly before we head home in the evening.
