Rasika Beauty Parlour

Our little spot is called Rasika Beauty Parlour and we are located at 9, Sai Plaza in the Cidco area of Nashik. It’s right across from the New State Bank near Lekha Nagar, so we see people going in and out of the bank all day. The shop is on the ground floor which makes it easy for the ladies to just walk in after they finish their shopping or errands. I remember when we first moved into Sai Plaza, it felt so big, but now with all the chairs and the mirrors and the different bottles of stuff, it feels quite snug. The walls have a few posters on them, mostly just to cover up the marks where we moved the shelves last year. It’s usually me and one other person here, keeping things tidy and waiting for the next customer. Nashik heat can be something else, so the ceiling fan is always on its highest setting, making a clicking sound that we’ve just grown used to. Most of our regulars live right here in Cidco, so we know most of the families and what's happening in the neighborhood. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just a couple of plastic chairs by the door where people sit and chat. It’s a regular part of life here. We do what needs to be done, whether it’s a quick trim or something else, and then we get ready for the next person who walks through the door from Lekha Nagar.
