Raj Mens Parlours

This shop is located at Shop No.1 in the Swar Ganga-1 building. We are over in Shiv Samarth Nagar, which is quite close to the Rto Corner in Mhasrul. It is a quiet enough part of Nashik most days, though the traffic picks up near the corner. The shop is not very big, just a couple of chairs and some basic stuff for cutting hair. We spend most of our time here waiting for the morning rush to start. Men from the nearby houses come in for a quick shave or a haircut before they head out to work. We have a small television in the corner that is usually on the news or some local channel. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. There is always a smell of talcum powder and aftershave in the air. We keep a few newspapers around for people to read while they wait their turn. It is just a regular local business. We know most of the people by their names because they have been coming here for years. Sometimes the kids come in for their first haircut and they cry a bit, but we handle it. It is just how things go in a neighborhood parlour. We are just here doing our bit every day, making sure the people in Mhasrul have a place to go to look a bit more presentable.
