You’ll find us at M - 31 in the MIDC area of Ambad in Nashik. It’s a big industrial zone, so it feels very different from the city center. There are mostly warehouses and factories around us. Our workshop is where we do graphics on the computers and the engineering work. It’s a mix of high-tech machines and some heavy tools sitting on the floor. The air smells a bit like ozone and metal. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. The Nashik weather is usually okay, but the winters get a bit chilly in the shop since it’s a big open space. We have some large tables for laying out plans and drawings. Most of the guys here wear boots and rough clothes because it’s not a clean office job. We deal with a lot of technical drawings and blueprints. The morning starts with checking the project list and seeing what needs to be machined or designed next. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea. The floor has some oil stains from the machines but that’s expected in a place like this. We’ve been at this M-31 address for years now. People know us for being the ones who stay late to get a project finished on time. It’s hard work but it’s what we do every single day without much complaint.
