Punchshil Industries

Punchshil Industries is located over in Satpur at G-17. If you know the area, it's pretty much all industrial around here. We’ve got the shop set up with the machines we need to get through the daily orders. It’s noisy and there’s usually a smell of oil in the air, but that’s just how it is in this line of work. We aren't trying to be anything other than a working shop. Most of the guys have been here for years and they know the equipment better than anyone. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you'll probably find us on the floor working on something. Satpur is a busy place, and we just fit right into the mix of other businesses on this block. We started out small and stayed that way because it's easier to manage things ourselves. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine breaks down, and we have to spend the morning fixing it instead of working. That’s just part of the routine. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of what we do is manual. It’s a steady rhythm of cutting, shaping, and checking parts. We just show up, do the work, and go home. That's the way it's always been at G-17. We don't need any fancy titles or big meetings to get things done. It's just about the tools and the metal and making sure the orders are ready for the morning.
