Balaji Chemicals

Balaji Chemicals is located at A- 27 in the Palkhed M. I. D. C. area of Dindori. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but being near the Palkhed Dam makes the air feel a little better than in the middle of a big city. We deal with various chemicals every day. The work is mostly about handling barrels, checking labels, and keeping the inventory straight. It is a practical environment. The floors are concrete and there is always a bit of a chemical smell in the air, which you get used to after a few days. We do not have a polished corporate setup here. It is more of a functional space where we get things done. During the monsoon, the dam looks quite nice from the road, but the rains also make the MIDC roads a bit of a mess with mud and puddles. We spend most of our time in the warehouse or the small office space at the front. There are only a few of us working here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from moving stock to answering the phone. We do not really do any big advertising. Most of our work comes from other businesses in the Nashik area who need what we have. It is just a regular local business trying to stay on top of the paperwork and the deliveries. We keep it simple and just focus on the daily tasks.
