Prakash Hair Salon

Prakash Hair Salon is right there on Saraf Bazar Road, not too far from the Ram Setu Pul. If you know Goda Ghat, you know how busy it gets around here with all the shops and people moving about. We’ve been at this spot in Bhandi Bazar for quite some time now. The shop isn’t anything fancy, just a couple of chairs and the usual mirrors on the wall. Usually, the morning starts with sweeping the floor and getting the towels ready. It gets quite loud outside with the traffic and people shouting, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of scissors clicking. Some days are slower than others. On weekends, the bench outside usually stays full with people waiting and chatting about whatever is happening in Nashik that day. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights, just the name on the front. Most people who come here live nearby or work in the market. It’s a simple routine of spray bottles, combs, and keeping the place decent. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of a rattling sound, but nobody seems to mind it much. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We keep the doors open to let some air in, even when it’s dusty outside. It's a small place but it serves its purpose for the folks around Saraf Bazar and beyond.
