You can find us right on the Main Road in Nashik, specifically at the spot everyone calls Hanky Corner. It’s a very busy part of town, so there is always noise and people moving about outside. We have been cutting hair here for a long time. The shop isn't very big, but we make use of the space we have. There are mirrors on both sides and a few chairs that have seen better days but are still sturdy. Most men in the area know us for a quick trim or a shave before they head off to work. We don't do anything flashy, just the standard styles people have been asking for since we opened. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low for washes, but we manage with what we've got. The floor is old tile and it’s stained in places, but it’s clean. We take pride in keeping our scissors sharp. On rainy days, the shop gets a bit damp, but customers still come in to escape the weather for a bit. We talk about local politics or how the crops are doing outside the city. It’s a place where you can just sit and not worry about much for twenty minutes. We don’t take bookings over the phone, you just have to show up and see if a chair is free. It’s been working fine for us all these years. We just keep the lights on and the door open.
