People usually find us because we are right across from the MSEB office in Indira Nagar. Shop number 14 in Vandana Park has been our spot for a good while now. If you are driving down Shreejay Nagar Road, you probably see our sign. It is a busy little area, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work. We keep the place simple. There are a few chairs, some big mirrors, and we try to keep the floor swept, though hair gets everywhere by noon. It is not fancy here. We just cut hair and do shaves for the guys in the neighborhood. Some people have been coming to us since they were kids and now they bring their own sons. Nashik gets pretty hot in the summer, so the fan is always going full speed. Sometimes the power goes out, which is funny being so close to the electricity office, but we manage. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first name. It is nice to hear the local gossip or talk about the cricket scores while working. We do not have a big website or anything. Just this small shop where you can sit down, wait your turn, and get a decent trim without any fuss. It stays pretty loud with the traffic outside, but inside it is just the sound of scissors and the radio playing some old songs.
