Ponic Greens

Our place is at Gala Number 8 inside Bavis Plaza. It’s right in Murarji Peth, literally across from the S. T. Bus Stand, so there’s always a lot of people moving around. We work with greenery and plants, mostly focusing on modern ways to grow things. It’s a bit different from a traditional farm, but we like the challenge. The space isn’t huge, but we make the most of every inch in the gala. You can hear the buses pulling in and out all day long. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with all the commuters, but it’s a good location for people to find us. We spend a lot of time checking on our systems and making sure the plants are healthy. It’s more of a hands-on job than people think. We get our hands dirty, even if we are in a commercial plaza. We started this because we liked the idea of growing things in the city. It’s not always easy to keep everything alive when the weather gets really hot, but we do our best. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. We just show people what we’ve grown and hope they like it. It’s a quiet kind of work inside a loud part of town. We are just happy to be here doing this and seeing things grow day by day.
