Peth Green Farmer Producer Company Limited is based over at Shri Thakur Shankar Seshyadrital's place in Peth, Nashik. It’s a local setup where a bunch of us farmers from around the Peth area got together. We aren't doing anything too complicated, just trying to manage our crops and sales better as a group. Being in Nashik, we have a lot of hills and decent soil, so we make do with what we have. Most of the time, you'll find us discussing seeds or the latest harvest prices at the office. It's more of a gathering spot for the local growers than a formal business office. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. It's mostly just word of mouth and hard work out in the fields. The address is easy to find if you know the Peth area well enough. We decided to form this company to help each other out because farming on your own can be pretty tough these days. We deal with the weather and the markets as they come. Some seasons are better than others, which is just how it goes with land work. We keep our paperwork at Shri Thakur Shankar's house and that's where we meet up to figure things out. It’s a practical way for us to keep things moving forward without spending money we don't have on big offices. It is just us trying to make a living through our collective efforts.
