Patel Maniram Irrigation

Patel Maniram Irrigation is situated right across from the police station here in Panchvati. We are part of the Krishi Utpanna Samiti area, so there are always tractors and trucks moving around outside. It gets pretty dusty in the summer months. Our shop is mostly filled with pipes, sprinklers, and all sorts of plastic fittings that farmers need for their fields. It is not a very quiet place because of the market activity, but we like it that way. We spend most of our time helping people figure out which pump or pipe will fit their setup. Most of the stuff we sell is heavy, so there is a lot of lifting involved throughout the day. We do not have a big office or anything; just a desk in the corner where we keep the books and a few chairs for people to sit while we get their order ready. My brother and I run the place with a couple of helpers who have been with us for years. We know most of the people who come in by name since they have been coming here for a long time. The shop stays open until late in the evening during the planting season because that is when everyone is busiest. It is hard work, and your hands get dirty, but that is just how it is with irrigation gear. We have been at this spot for quite some time now.
